JIMMYCASE is the Stylish iPhone Wallet Case You’ve Been Looking For

JIMMYCASE iPhone 13 Pro Case The Next Gentleman

Take a second to think about how many cell phones you’ve owned in your lifetime – amazing how rapidly tech changes, isn’t it? Now think about how many times you’ve ever broken one of those phones. According to a poll done by AT&T, 72% of users have broken a phone in their lifetime, with 52% of users having broken two in their lifetime.

With the today’s average cost of a smartphone exceeding $500, protection matters, which is why choosing the right case is paramount. For the last five years, I’ve been using the JIMMYCASE iPhone wallet case to protect my phone from dings, scratches, and from bulking up my pockets too much. They’re stylish and sometimes playful, featuring a real wood backing and an array of elastic band holders. I talk up this case on Instagram frequently, so I thought that warranted a thorough review.

When it comes to breaking phones, I’ve (proudly) only cracked one screen in 15 years. And it actually happened this past year.

“But you just told us how your JIMMYCASE is the best phone case ever, what gives?” you might ask.

How Protective is JIMMYCASE?

First, my JIMMYCASE iPhone wallet cases have held up their end of the bargain. The fact is I drop my phone a few times per week. It gets jostled around with my keys all the time. And one time, it went flying across multiple tables in a small cafe – still not sure how that happened. But despite all that, each corner remains smooth, the back unscathed, and all buttons and camera lenses fully functioning.

Second, the key lies in the design. JIMMYCASE has a semi-hard rubber bumper that wraps all the way around the phone. The bumper is raised along the edge of the screen, which protects it from scratches when lying face down. On the back, you’ll find JIMMYCASE’s military-spec wood core. Each case features a piece of cut wood sourced from a local aircraft supplier. The wood works alongside the rubber bumper to protect the back against dings, scratches, and as it turns out, flying across multiple tables in local cafes.

This iphone wallet case works, and it works well. But if you think safety is the only reason I recommend this product, that’s simply not the case…

Sorry. I had to.

JIMMYCASE iPhone Wallet Case Review

If you’re still reading, let me tell you why JIMMYCASE iphone wallet cases are the perfect balance between style and functionality.

We know that each case comes with a distinct piece of cut-wood for safety, yes – but it also looks snazzy as hell. JIMMYCASE uses Maple, Oak, and Ebony for their phone cases, and each looks distinctly handsome accompanied by the matte black rubber bumper. Furthermore, not only does snugly fit six cards plus cash, but it’s also a great way to personalize the look of your case and manage patterns within your outfit. You can choose from over 35 colors, prints, and patterns for iPhone models dating back to the iPhone 5.

Overall, JIMMYCASE has never let me down. I’ve used one their cases on my last four phones. One of those cases, seen in the photo up top, lasted for three years and the only obvious wear was the top of the elastic stretching a little because I fidget with it so much. The rubber was still fully intact and the cutouts for the charger and sound switch didn’t stretch one bit.

I recently ventured into the iPhone 13 Pro and got the JIMMYCASE Ebony, complete with the Ebony wood backing and black elastic.

What’s that? You still want to know how I broke my phone? It’s not even cool – I was rock climbing and had the screen facing outward and… I think you know where this is going. Smash.
